DeCorado ThinBrick is authentic to the last grain of sand, pebble and clay. Our bricks come from buildings that unfortunately have seen their last days. They come from late 1890's to 1950's buildings that once were stockyards, warehouses, hospitals, schools and homes, turn of the century buildings that might have seen some shady deals in their heydays. For all we know Capone or John Dillinger spent sometime inside these old brick buildings. Most of these bricks are from Illinois and Indiana area from buildings that can no longer be rehabilitated. We recycle these old bricks and they get re-purposed by you to add instant old world charm to a new building or a new wall. Though there are many bricks out there that try to imitate the age, patina and historical value, none compare to the real deal.
